2. What data we collect
Contact form: name, mobile number, email, location and type of property, your message and any files you choose to attach. The request is emailed to the team from the website's server (hosted by dominios.pt), with the files attached. If it can't be sent, the website offers WhatsApp with the message already written, which only reaches us when you press send; in that case it goes through the services of Meta, the owner of WhatsApp.
Chat assistant: the questions you type. With the automatic answers, nothing leaves your browser. If the artificial intelligence assistant is active, the conversation is sent to the AI provider solely to generate the answer.
WhatsApp and phone: what you tell us in that conversation.
Browsing: your cookie choice and, if you accept all, the list of legislation you have already seen, both stored in your own browser. Neither identifies you. We don't use analytics or advertising tools.
Please don't send us ID documents, bank details or health data through this website.

4. Who we share it with
Only when your case requires it, and always under a duty of confidentiality:
RE/MAX Portugal and the RE/MAX Rumo Group, to manage the process;
lawyers, solicitors, notaries and registry offices involved in the transaction;
banks and the credit intermediary, when you ask for help with financing;
WhatsApp (Meta), when the request from the form or the assistant is sent via WhatsApp;
technical providers: the website and email hosting (dominios.pt) and, when active, the assistant's AI provider;
public authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell or hand over your data for advertising.
5. Data outside the European Union
Some providers, such as Meta (WhatsApp), Google or artificial intelligence services, may process data outside the European Union. In those cases they only do so with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
Contacts that don't lead to a transaction: up to 2 years after the last contact, or less if you ask us to delete them.
Files sent through the form with no contract signed: deleted after 12 months.
Contract and transaction data: for the periods required by law, namely tax and anti-money laundering rules.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a format you can take to another organisation. You can also withdraw the consent you gave, without affecting what was done up to then.
Just contact us using the details in section 1. We reply within one month at the latest.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Even so, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don't send us confidential information by form or message.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here, with the date of the update.

The website does not show the property portfolio: the links lead to the remax.pt portal, which has the up-to-date prices, features and availability, and its own terms of use.
The information in any listing is based on the property's documents and what the owner tells us. It is not a contractual offer and does not replace checking the original documents before deciding.
4. Valuations
Our valuations are commercial estimates, based on comparable sales and the condition of the property. They do not replace a valuation by an appraiser registered with the CMVM (the Portuguese securities regulator), such as the one banks require.
5. Informational content
The blog, the list of legislation and the chat assistant's answers are for information only. The list of legislation is collected automatically and may not be complete. Laws and rates change often: always check the official text and don't make decisions without legal or tax advice on your case.
